Remind101
Remind101 is a program that provides a safe & simple communication method between students, parents, and teachers. Students and parents can sign up for an account and to join a class. Using Remind101 is convenient because there is an iPhone app and an android app available. One of the great features about Remind101 is that it keeps the contact information of the students and parents private. Their teacher(s) will never be able to view their information such as their phone number that the information is sent to. This app would be especially beneficial for me as a high school history teacher. Most high school students have some brand of smart phone which would make using Remind101 very convenient. When I was a high school student I would occasionally forget assignments and it would have been great to receive reminders via text message. |
